The Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies (MCIT) is partnering with Techstars, the most active pre-seed investor in the world with a worldwide network that helps entrepreneurs succeed, and the Saudi National Bank (SNB) to foster innovative tech ecosystems in two promising regions of The Kingdom: Jeddah and Al Ahsa. Two Founder Catalyst pre-accelerator programs will be based in Jeddah and Al Ahsa and delivered in hybrid form, with the objective to support the growth of local and international startups and foster entrepreneurship in the extended Eastern and Western Provinces of The Kingdom. The two programs will be supporting 50+ startups in various fields, with a special focus on media tech startups.

MCIT seeks to enrich and build the sector of video gaming development, and it launched the program Professionalism Video Gaming in partnership with UMX studio. The main objective of this program is to qualify entrepreneurs in the best local studio to be able to start up their own video gaming studio.

The Riyadh Techstars Accelerator is focused on startups building and growing their businesses in the Middle East and North Africa

An intensive program for founder of startups that provide hardware solutions in their initial stages, which aims to accelerate the work of the startup by focusing on knowledge and practical building in the stage of growth and expansion through a 12-week program that covers several stages, including meetings and business development sessions, consulting and preparation for demo day under the supervision of a group of specialists in the field.

It is a digital challenge focused on providing solutions in the field of open banking, linking the challenge between acquiring the basics in preparing a business model and the principles of innovation of open banking products. The challenge contains a number of stages that prepare the entrepreneur from presenting his presentation at the closing ceremony to the jury for a chance to win the challenge prizes.
