Building capabilities to mentor founders and start-ups

Participants would be able to build their capabilities as mentors in start-up programs, and learn through various modes (theory, practical examples, activities, overview while conducting the function, and review). Program graduated would have the ability to coach and mentor start-ups in variety fields.
Chief Executive Officer
Catherine is leading the strategic mission to help leaders and changemakers learn how to solve problems and make bold ideas take flight. Since joining Creative HQ in 2018, she has demonstrated her aptitude and passion for creating impact through structured innovation processes.
Prior to working at Creative HQ, Catherine had a comprehensive career in investment banking and law in New Zealand and overseas. Catherine’s experience includes positions at world-leading organizations such as HSBC, JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and Linklaters.
Chief Innovation Officer
Brett has a diverse background in creating and running start-up businesses, product development, operations management and sales growth. Brett originally joined the Creative HQ Board of Directors in 2014 before joining the management team in 2015 to lead all accelerator programs.
Brett started his first business in 1998, and has started and developed three other companies, since then he has also helped over 250+ start-ups and innovation teams develop new products and business ventures, and has mentored a range of young companies in both New Zealand and the US.
Brett has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago and both a Bachelor and Master of Science in Engineering from the University.
Creative HQ has a world-class pool of Innovation Specialists who work to deliver outstanding results across all our projects.
Participant should be able to use their own track record of success to help start-ups reach their potential high-growth. Participants should provide the start-ups with of a variety of sources for ideas, input, and networking, as well as personal and business growth.

That can assist with a start-up’s long-term success, and can be the most valuable services that they’ll receive during a start-up growth.
