As part of the program line-up taking place at LEAP 2022 in Riyadh, the creative project titled “The Garage” was announced, platforming a unique and innovative work environment that ties in incubators and accelerators alongside various other services.
This project was developed in collaboration with King Abdulaziz University for Sciences and Technology, the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, and the Saudi Federation for Cyber Security and Programming.
The base of this project is set in a large parking lot in Riyadh city that was reconstructed specifically as launch space for upcoming and developing startup businesses.
The idea was inspired by the garage spaces that were the birthplace of companies such as Amazon, Google, Apple, etc. While they began their journeys from unconventional spaces, they managed to change the world as we know it.
The Garage is a working business model that combines incubators and business accelerators in addition to other services that ensures a startup is equipped with everything it needs to grow and succeed.
