Saudi startups participating in the Tech Founders program, led by the Digital Entrepreneurship Center (CODE), took part in an advanced international journey as part of the global incubation phase through their participation in COMEUP 2025 in Seoul, South Korea—one of the world’s leading conferences for entrepreneurship and innovation. This participation underscores the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology’s commitment to empowering Saudi founders and enhancing their readiness to scale into global markets, further strengthening the Kingdom’s presence on international innovation platforms.
During the conference, Saudi founders showcased their innovations and technology solutions across a wide range of sectors, including logistics, tourism, services, education, gaming, fintech, health tech, artificial intelligence, proptech, and more. Presented within a dedicated Tech Founders pavilion, the startups received strong engagement from international investors and industry stakeholders, contributing to the formation of high-quality partnerships that support the growth of Saudi startups. The conference also served as a key platform for connecting with entrepreneurial ecosystems from around the world, exchanging expertise, and exploring future collaboration opportunities.
As part of the program, Tech Founders Demo Day was held on December 8, where founders pitched their startups to a select group of Korean and international venture capital firms and investors. Participants also joined the COMEUP Tech Founders Tour, which brought them together with innovation leaders and global technology companies. The journey concluded today with the Final Ceremony, attended by government officials, international partners, and investment entities, to highlight the outcomes of the participation and explore prospects for expansion and future partnerships.
In addition, the program delegation held intensive meetings with major Korean funding institutions, including D.Camp, KVIC, K-Growth, and GS Ventures, alongside meetings with advanced companies specializing in artificial intelligence and digital infrastructure. These engagements enabled Saudi startups to gain insights into leading global technological practices and operating models, while laying the groundwork for future collaboration in areas such as AI and advanced computing.
The participation of the Tech Founders program in Seoul marks a significant milestone in supporting the journey of Saudi startups by strengthening their international presence, deepening connections with global investors, and enabling hands-on exposure to leading markets—contributing to the continued reinforcement of the Kingdom’s position within the global technology landscape.
